Once a long time ago a boyfriend sent me a card with some very poetic words on it that he wrote himself or so I thought. It was in his handwriting. Later on I found out he copied a poem from somewhere. At first I was a bit miffed but he meant what the words said and wasn’t a poet himself so I appreciated the effort.
