So two things I didn’t know: one, that you can turn around a print comic that quickly, and two, that Gene is a Santos fan.

With comic lead time & deadlines it could have referenced McCarthy. Today it’s the former congressman formerly known by whatever the current lie. There will be another by in a bit.

So even men in comic strips have ancient Rome on their minds.

I thought it pretty funny when Pelosi referred to “The Dignity of the House”… Twice! ☺

What’s the difference between a Santos and a DeSantis other than the fact that one is my governor?

Interesting that everyone just assumes that the Circus is the House of Representatives. Not to mention that the Roman Circus was a racetrack, not an arena or amphitheater like the Coliseum.

Shouldn’t it be “When would you go?”
