Ok, but last panel is pretty adorable I gotta admit

So far so good.

If this is actually permanent, this arc will be the second best monumental arc (not in terms of storytelling though, not even close) that features any sort of positive character development in Big Nate. First is when Nate actually got over Jenny.

If this isn’t permanent, I regret reading this comic daily and I regret commenting here after like a 3 year streak of not commenting in Big Nate.

Also, let me just say the comment section has been good for a while which is why I’m even bothered to comment again. It used to be full of toxic idiots who put up stupid polls or spread needless hate towards other people (even with the worst of allegations), the comic and even Mr. Peirce himself.

I’m glad we’re not seeing those anymore and just seeing reasonable people just discuss about the comic.

Don’t know if this is the end of this particular arc, but if so I definitely like how it played out and ends.

Umm…I honestly don’t know what to say. This is one of the weirdest arcs of 2023. I went from “Oh, Kim’s probably going to tell Daphne that she and Nate are soulmates, but Daphne will see right through it” to “KIM AND CHAD ARE A COUPLE WAIT WHAT?!!!!!!!!”

I hope they stay a couple because this could lead to some exiting arcs

Yes yes YES!!!! Is this FINALLY the end of Kim’s reign of terror? A bit of shade thrown towards Nate in the last panel, but that’s fine with me! It’s a happy ending!!! At least, I hope…

What can I say? Chad, my condoleances. Buy HIP HIP HOORAYYYYY for Nate!!!!!!!! At the beggining of this week, everyone hated this arc, but I should officialy apologise to Lincoln: thank you for this amazing Christmas gift.
