Empanadas dreams?

Gracie reminds me of a character named Debbie from the Motley Classics strip. Debbie loved school and hated summer vacation. She’d call her teacher on the phone to ask questions and the teacher wanted her to stop bugging her. Debbie had an IQ of 200 but couldn’t tie her own shoelaces.

Try getting them to compliment each other.

I mean, winter break does mean we’re closer to an election year.

Yes, as The Orange Mailman pointed out, they may complement each other, but they seldom if ever compliment one another.

Gracie can use winter break for other kinds of education. Learning happens all the time if you are observant.

Huh. I read the first panel and then expected to read what compliments the siblings were giving each other…

School is when you get to see your friends – at least it was in the pre internet, a “cellphone in every pocket” days .

Christmas break…..

Baldo will be working for Gracie when she takes the world by storm.

I don’t really understand Gracie. I liked school as much as she does, but I was always happy when vacation time came around.

I really like Gracie. But this look sad.
