Pardon me but the comment I thought of concerns a Monty Python sketch involving an exploding penguin that just isn’t “PG” enough to spell out here. Speaking of using euphemisms, that is.

I wonder if Nate would say he’s going to ‘irrigate the tree’ that someone who is always listening, would understand what the English word irrigate means.

Maybe Nate should stick with chemical formulas?

Our male, who was perfectly housebroken and never peed in the house, peed on the Christmas tree every year.

It was the only time of the year he would pee in the house. Once the tree was gone, so was the problem.

Once a year, every year. I cannot explain it, other than “MY tree!” Lol

My clowder, luckily, is leaving the Christmas tree and other assorted ornaments alone.

Perhaps some wild animal had peed on the tree before it was cut? The dog would still smell that.
