Poor Luann has always been a “loser” at love thanks to Greg at first and then Greg & Karen throughout the strip. I am kind of surprised G&K have not put together an arc in the current Luann where either Aaron or Quill return to Pitt and Luann gets a bit excited only to find out that he is either engaged or happily married. In Quill’s case he would probably thank Luann for launching him and allowing him to go out in the real world to find himself and the love of his life as if he stayed with Luann , he would be stagnating in a dead end town with no direction or future, kind of like how G&K have been portraying Luann since she dumped Quill.
