What is a decent wage? There won`t be a consensus opinion. Some will say millions. Others will say much lower. `Fair share` is another expression that comes to mind. What is it?
A tourist was visiting a country where bullfighting took place. After seeing the fights he walked back to his hotel. On his way he spotted a restaurant that served “Yesterday’s Losers.” He had a hankering for a nice steak so he went in. As he looked at the menu he was amazed at all the various dishes he could order. He asked his waiter about the day’s special. “Oh, señor, it is the most highly sought after cut from the bull. A pair of, how you Americans say, ‘Rocky Mountain Oysters’ in our special tomato sauce, presented in their own bag, floured, breaded and fried in olive oil.” Well, the tourist had that and he was just blown away by the texture and taste. “This was the best thing I have had on my entire vacation, I must come back for more”. A few days later he returns and orders the same thing, but is disappointed. He spoke to the waiter voicing his disappointment with both the size and taste of his dinner. The waiter replied, “Señor, sometime the bull wins.”
