Years ago, Crankshaft hung up a big ball of lights. That was the first time I saw that gag. Christmas tumbleweeds sounds like a great idea.

It’s something I need to talk to a therapist about. I enjoy untangling my wife’s necklaces and the Christmas lights. I don’t know, it’s like it’s a puzzle or something.

Tumbleweed is not native to America

Tumbleweeds make for beautiful Christmas decorations. In college my roommates and I went out and found a huge tumbleweed since we couldn’t afford a traditional tree. We got a can of flocking and sprayed the tree until it was fluffy and white. We then took a couple of strings of the little lights and some Christmas ornaments and decorated the tree. It turned out to be a lovely tree when we were done.

When are they going to come up with a Christmas light cannon like in How the Grinch Stole Christmas???

Stake ‘em down along the front wall of the house. They’re landscaping now.

It’s not rocket science. You wrap them around stiff pieces of cardboard as you take them down. This meme is getting old.

SOLUTION: Simply unplug one bulb in the single line variety.

Boomhauer on King of the Hill did something similar. Dumps the box on a table in front of the window, plugs it in, and walks away.

I put them away each year perfectly coiled, and when I get them out in December they are a tangled mess!
