and that’s Christmas shopping done right.

I do gift cards. It’s easier.

I can relate.

When I’m shopping for others, I always find stuff I want. Makes me feel selfish but when I’m shopping for myself I mainly see stuff I don’t want.

“Oh, well. I can re-gift it slightly used for next year. People know it’s what I do. That’s difficult with perfume. But I find if I top off the bottle with vanilla extract, few are any the wiser!”

I give hard cash. Never got any back to exchange. Ben Franklins smell nice also.

….it is always something I need?

I am a poor consumer. I tend not to buy things unless I need them. I rarely make an impulse buy. Most of my purchases are pre-meditated.

Good old Aunty, perpetuating the “Merican” Christmas tradition of massive commercialism, which is interesting since Aunty is English. But then Aunty has done a good job following in the “Merican” tradition of massive, binge drinking as well.

And then, you have to give it all away to friends and family.

as a pastafarian get to skip all the gift giving.

Who else knows better what you want.

Far fewer returns that way.

One stop shopping, National Museum of the American Indian gift shop. Everybody on my list gets the exact same thing. Done. and. done.

I can’t imagine her wearing spike shoes.

When I shop for Gifts, I try to find something that I think the recipient would like that also says “Good Gift” to Me.

I don’t have to Christmas shop anymore. YAY!!
