That was a Hercules episode where he was in a Elysium and he kept living his best day over and over but without remembering that it was repeating.

If you want to know what a foreign country is like, you have to listen to the account of someone who has been there. Same goes for the afterlife. There is only one person who has and that is Jesus (John 3:13). You can do three things with that claim. You can conclude He is lying, that He is crazy, or that He is telling the truth, but you cannot claim He is just a wise teacher. A wise teacher is not a liar or a lunatic.

I don’t like this assignment at this age for children. It’s a major philosophical argument and not for this level of education…..

If that’s true, that means Nate has suffered Mrs. Godfrey a million times. Poor Nate.

The first time Hollywood used the replay trope was in the 1947 film “Repeat Performance” in which the main character makes a very bad decision on New Year’s Eve. She then wishes for and gets the chance to relive the entire previous year in an attempt to do better a second time.

We watched it last night on the Criterion Channel where it is streaming as part of their Holiday Noir curation.

Ive thought of this exact same thing that Francis said, you know how some people can remember their past life? (apparently)

I hope that isn’t the case. There are parts of my life I do not want to relive.
