To paraphrase Linus Van Pelt…, One flake of snow does not a snow day make. (In the original, Linus says to Snoopy, “One patch of Ice does not a winter make.”)
A couple of inches of snow here and you can bet on bubba in his new pickup racing along the freeway until he sees a well coated bridge, slams on his brakes, and does a 180 into the nearest abutment.
no snow days here. i get to head out into the cold to dig out so that my better half can get to work. the longer the snow hold off, the closer we are to spring… ☺
I don’t know about now but when I was of school age, one flake here in Georgia definitely meant a snow day. The road crews here just aren’t equipped for snow because we never get much of it. Fortunate, as far as I’m concerned.

There are no more snow days in NYC public schools. If there is a snow storm, it will become a remote instruction day.

sadly no… unless that one snowflake is actually a magic one that’ll flood the place in snow, then maybe. :J

Sorry Wilberforce. Need two to mate. Ask Adam and Eve. They have made a world of 7.8 billion people. Quite a snowman there.

Where I live it is NOT a “snow day” until 10 inches of snow falls. I guess us Canadians are tougher than you Yanks. lol

With iPads and remote learning that is not the joyful day it once was. Likewise with business.

Best to go ask the snowflake, “Is there anymore where you came from?”.

Up North, most schools don’t close until the last second….or not at all. It’s got to be near “0” * or 4-5 feet snow before they even consider it. ☹️
