Some people asked yesterday……. When did the character of Rozco first appear in Baldo? ……and……Does he actually have a home but likes life on the street? ……Anybody know?
These are so sad, especially because there are people who really should avail themselves of better housing opportunities and much more that is available, but due to pride or preferences, mental conditions, bad habits or who knows what, condemn themselves to living in harsh conditions with insufficient nourishment. Often giving them money is no help, but a warm meal, cocoa or coffee, some clothing… if they’ll accept those. I’ve currently got a family and a single man living in my duplex, sometimes they’ve been able to help out with expenses, the family is supposed to be paying a modest rent but the dad hasn’t been able to keep a job for long it seems… I don’t have money to speak of, but we all need to help each other out if we can in these times.

An auto mechanic dumpster doesn’t smell as bad as a fast food restaurant dumpster.

I wish it was wood, not cardboard. Or better yet, a real house.

Hey Baldo! You should bring him some Empanadas as a house warming gift, that is if you can bring him a plateful intact!

Are there no workhouses, are there no prisons? We do have a surplus population.

In my area, they’re re-purposing metal shipping containers as housing for veterans.
