That was variant number 14-B of the reasons I chose to un-spouse myself the one time. Number 1-B was her absolutely straight faced assertion that “If you really loved me, I wouldn’t HAVE to talk to you about what I want!”. 1-A was the fact that if I suggested ANYTHING for us she opposed it without thought or effort. So “Lets go out to eat” became a three day campaign to get her to have the idea for herself. Exhausting.
