Hey, it mocks little people!!!

Someone had to keep an eye on Henri.

Toulouse or not toulouse, that is the question.

Poor Henri didn’t stand a chance. I remember learning that, in addition to being only 4’8”, and dying in his 30s, he had a hook nose, bad teeth that caused constant pain, a receding chin, a lisp, and he drooled. Toulouse-Lautrec Syndrome was named for him.

I don’t see the gag here.

Something of a reach, Sunday in the Park having been painted by Georges Seurat. Toulouse-Lautrec actually did paint a dog named Follette that looks remarkably like this one. Some of his other known dogs were named Flèche, Margot, and possibly one named Touc. He painted many dogs.

Extremely clever.
