It will sneak up on you when you least expect it.

I wouldn’t say puberty is something “achieved”, more like it’s something that is inflicted upon you.

I was a late bloomer.

Yeah, Skylar, one day your voice ‘will crack’ and you will sound ‘funny’ for an amount of time then it will all be over and you will forget about your homework even more ! ! ! !

I think the right word for Cosmo was “reach” not “achieve”. I doubt puberty is something you can aspire to.

You’re a comic strip character. You don’t have a voice.

Get plenty of exercise, Skylar. Or you may end up like Cosmo.

I’m not convinced that “achieve” is quite the right word…

I think singer Barry White told of the time when his voice changed, he got up from bed, went to the kitchen and said Good morning Mom. and his mother jumped out of her skin lol

A singing career will be out for a year or so before things even out.

The irony is that none of us readers has ever heard his voice to begin with, so we would never notice the difference anyway.
