Clothes for my S.O. : Three pairs of jeans, four sweaters, (one cashmere), three pullover shirts (one henley), a pair of cashmere lined leather gloves that are tech usable, a woven leather belt, and and a book on the way. My daughter and son-in-law got a down duvet, a package of wiri wiri peppers (try to find that in a store!), a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, and socks. One brother got a subscription to The New Yorker, and the other got a stainless steel skillet, American made (yes, you can still buy cookware that is not made in China). My sister got a book and a neck. reading light I spent more than I should have, but I love them all.
The Gift of Sarcasm is something indeed. I’ve been saying for several years that the last and final Commandment was “Never underestimate the Power of Sarcasm”. Wouldn’t you know it, that’s the one stone tablet Moses dropped on his way back from the mountaintop.
