Do kids really ‘connect’ before puberty in the U.S., as in these comics? We boys (in Oz) were almost afraid to talk to girls (apart from sisters) before puberty, and the reverse was also true when I was in primary school, and even the first couple of years beyond that. I guess things have changed, and our biological clocks are ticking.
