Beni was THAT close to settling the Moose issue once and for all.

Love the sledge hammer!

Ceramic heirloom, hmm. Grandma took the opportunity to get rid of it.

More like a white elephant.

Someday the heirloom moose will be appraised at $1.75 on Antiques Roadwreck.

I was in a giftshop and saw some nice wooden boxes referred to as ’’heirloom’’ boxes. I wasn’t impressed with them at all, you could still see hardened strips of the hot glue that was used to make them.

Seems Beni is looking for something to fix.

The Family Fruitcake will now take the part of the moose

I wanted to see what was inside the thing.

…And kids can be so hammery…

I’m trying to pass on “family heirlooms” and finding a distinct lack of interest in the family. General refrain “Oh, Gran, I haven’t got room”. Frustrating.

Please direct me to the Ornamental Ceramic Family Heirloom Moose (or Elk) department…

Crisis averted! Now it will be safe on the top shelf, collecting dust as god intended.
