We had a dog like that when we lived across the street from a grammar school. She once came home with an ice cream cone, another time a slice of pizza. She was a cute beagle and the little kids would want to feed her.
He gets them from Gary, Spud’s monster that brings him sandwiches.
And if he fetched it with his mouth, as most dogs do, then let HIM have it.
