Just surprised someone reads signs,… It the “Real” world some people don’t.

I had seen that sign “XING” on the street somewhere but I never understood what it stood or meant for.

wildmustang, The legal meaning of “x-ing” is crossing. Such as a school crossing or deer crossing, etc.

There must be a lot of run away wheels to warrant a sign!

I read about a woman who wanted the county to move a Deer X-ing sign because too many deer were getting killed there. Her logic was that if they moved the sign to a new location then the deer would cross somewhere else. Idiot.

Years later it becme a RR X-ing. You don’t want to get hit with either one….
