Foxy!

In noting the quiet, Rose has committed a fox paw.

I live in the wilderness, and it’s not often that it’s completely quit, mostly in the winter is when it is the quietest time of the year, but sitting on my deck I always hear the Hawks, the songbirds, the trees swaying bath and forth in the wind,(I often hear a tree falling in the woods) the leave’s dropping and of course those pesky deer who are always stirring up trouble with my dogs. But the snakes are quiet, except for the Timber Rattle Snake, walk by them and they get all excited.

It appears that Rose has been out-foxed…

One spring, momma fox had a litter in the culvert pipe under our driveway. The little ones would come out to play. Fun to watch.

Many more foxes this year where I live. The cycle of nature, probably less rabbits, mice, etc. as a result.

Now Are Foxes!

It’s so nice of the foxes to tiptoe as to not interrupt her quiet time.

I’ve never seen a fox,even in a zoo.

My woods and fields are not quiet, ever. Except maybe when it is actually snowing. Love to walk with my dogs when it’s snowing at night. Like the ocean for water folks.

The foxes sneaking by have quieted all the other wildlife.
