Sometimes a cat does need a double-dinner. Maybe that last patch of grass they nibbled did not agree with them. Unless your cat is fat, indulge these irregular requests with good grace.
Even though we don’t stay outside long, when she wants to go out at all in the cold weather (in harness), and she has a luxuriant winter coat with free feed dry available 24/7 sometimes more wet food is politely requested when it’s really cold out (and of course served)
