I have “trained” my cat to respond to a series of carefully timed suggestions. A cat’s attention is focused like a laser-beam. It’s no good calling her when she is locked on possible prey movement in the grass. However, if I call her to come in that instant she does an area scan which includes me, she immediately … puts it on her To Do List. :)
