I made that tree in green with birds, butterfies & bulbs that all lit up, in pottery class & gave it to my Grandma, so she could “have a lil Christmas out” at her house. The Christmas after she died, my Mom was very eager for me to open one present. Yep. It was my tree! Mom told me, that tho she never told me, “Ma”, as we called her, loved that tree & was proud of my having made it! So, I have triple memories every year when I set it up. The classes, which were fabulous. The memory of my normally staid Mom twitching with supressed glee as I opened the present. And the memory that my equally staid Ma, loved the tree!!! Ain’t Christmas grand!?!?!?
