    Here we are, Vagabonds

As I was starting to move around this morning I saw some head lights slowly coming down the hill, then I could see the amber flashing lights that Identified it as a town truck. I did not hear the tell tail sound of chains, it depends on how tight they got them. I hope they were spreading sand.

The trucks they used in my youth are Tanka trucks compared to what the got today, loaded with sand I’d say there are tons of truck rolling down the road.

The temp is 33 when I first looked and that agrees with the TV witch is taken from the airport in Coventry with is just outside of Newport City. Cloudy skies, some fog, high 37. At lest I ain’t going to freeze.

The day is what the day will be but I expect nothing beyond the usual goings and comings. (^.^)May your goings and comings be as expected and your day be bless by the King of Kings.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark was rousted by a sand truck, for me it was a trash truck. Why do they have to come around before 6AM? And the closest dumpster is around 50 feet from my bedroom!

I bought a box of “Sweethearts” the other day and opened it this morning. (The box is labelled “The Original”) I can remember being able to chew those little hearts. These are chalky hard candies. I’m afraid of breaking my crowns if I try to chew them! I will admit that the flavors are much better than most of the knock offs, though.

One of my neighbors passed away a couple of weeks ago and her daughter is cleaning out the house. She is donating a lot of stuff to Mike’s church, including a ton lot of clothes and kitchen utensils, dishes, etc. The kitchen stuff will be given to the folks that the church helps to find a home so that they have a start on stocking their new kitchen. The daughter has even said Mike can have the dining room table & chairs for his place. He’s currently using my card table.

Today will be a lazy Thursday as usual. Not much happening and no place pressing to go. I did figure out that between church services, prayer group & bible studies I spend time at church 5 days a week. Thursday & Friday are the only days I don’t. I’m loving it.

We’ve got a “mostly cloudy” day today. I can see little patches of blue, but not much. The clouds are moving fast but are not threatening. We are expecting a high of 64 and it’s already over 50 so maybe it will clear off a little.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
