I’ve heard the song but had no idea it was written by Paul McCartney.

At least it’s not Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas”.

It is frustrating indeed to try and get any form of customer service where you can talk to a person. I tried calling customer service the other day and when an operator came on the line, she flipped me back over into the phone bank menu, I had just gotten out of. That infuriated me. When I got through again, I told the operator DO NOT send me back to the phone bank. She didn’t, instead sent me to an extension and put me on hold which then gave me the message, “We cannot take your call right now, please hang up and try again later” then hung up on me. I finally called a repair center in another state and was about to get some help.

Better than hard rock or rap! LOL

They never play a song all the way through anymore. Some corporate meme insists that they interrupt every ten seconds to tell you how your call is so very, very, very important to them. (Just not enough to hire more staff to answer the phone.)

I think my favorite modern Christmas song is Greg Lake’s I Believe in Father Christmas “The Christmas we get we deserve.”
