It won’t be magical when I work until the store closes tonight. There’s always at least one person who will be swearing and pounding on the doors because we shut and locked the doors at closing time.
On Christmas Eve in my dad’s store we’d let the employees go at 3.n The family would keep the store open till 7. Then we’d go out to dinner, usually to what was then called the International House of Pancakes because it was open.

I just saw that some Starbucks were open Christmas day?! Can we all just knock that off please? One day of coffee at home won’t kill us, folks!
