Oh for heaven’s sake Drew! Stop being so sanctimonious. The person who died doesn’t need the stuff anymore and it finds a new home. The next of kin make some money. Sounds like a win/win.
She doesn’t question Lila spending the rent money of shoes, sitting in a bar looking for a guy with a guy sitting beside her, having a miserable job and not trying to figure out a way to improve, and generally living a life that shows a total lack of thinking things out, but when she finally does something that makes sense on several different levels, NOW she doesn’t approve?
Somebody once told me buying from a pawn is feeding on other people’s misery. I consider that a little sanctimonious considering you don’t know the history and they do do police theft lists.

Drew would whine just as much if everything went into a landfill.

Drew has never owned anything in her life that was previously owned by someone who is now deceased?
