We had a cocker named Patty. She adored Mom and would follow her all around the house to be in the same room as her. As time went on, she got a bit tired of the movement and went to lying across the doorway of each room, so that when Mom came to step over her, it was her cue to follow.

It’s not us lazies that are the problem, Sophie.
It’s these fidgety people that run around like headless chickens.
Sit down, and plan ahead. Then, do everything you have to do in sequential order, without all that back & forth.
