Wouldn’t it be better if the clock hands were at 12, ie the dogs are sleeping because there are no fireworks where they are?

Thats how our News Years is going to be, in bed by nine.

Best idea. Fireworks are not a good idea, and where I live there are two sessions tonight.

They are doing just what I’ll be doing …. and hopefully, like past years, I’ll wake up around 11:45pm ….. Turn TV on and see the ball drop …… turn TV OFF and hopefully go back to sleep ….. HAPPY NEW YEARS to “ALL” 4 footed critters & feathered friends ….. OK ….. some Humans too …. :)

We’ve had intermittent fireworks going off over a week now. I dread sunset tomight, there will be no peace!

I went to bed arounf eight PM, woke at seven AM and my elkhound didn’t hear a thing all night. I would have known. They are bred to be heard from one end ofthe fjord to the other, and ’Dash was by my bed all night.

I was in bed early because I had to get up at four. but to no avail… What a stupid idea to set off fireworks between two appartment blocks standing close together…. It was like a civil war people screaming, explosions…
