Homeowners remove the branches to cover beds overwinter and protection for birds and small animals.PS don’t burn pine in the fireplace. It has can cause a fire.

I have a nice little fake tree that is 20+ years old with fiber optic lights.

Christmas trees are a big side business for the farmers around here. Sadly, the hot, dry conditions earlier this year ruined a lot of trees.

Oh, get a grip, Karma. There are plenty of bigger worries in this world than the existence of Christmas trees….

I’ve skipped having any sort of tree for at least 20 years. Maybe longer.

It’s been at least 10 years since I bothered to hang any lights on the Outside of the house.
