Cats can have very intresting conversations. I once knew someone who would carry on a conversation with a Siamese in Siamese and they understood each other. Or at least that what it seemed like.
Meow back at cats? I talk to my kitties all the time and they talk back. Granted the conversation’s not too thrilling, mostly “Feed me!” and “Pet me!” “Get off that table!” but conversation is conversation.

Of course. It would be rude not to answer them back.

Who doesn’t talk to their pets? I talk to my dog all the time. Don’t ignore them because it’ll make them feel unwanted.

New studies show that cats may cause schizophrenia. Hmm! Talking to herself?

It regards to answering yourself – Often it is the only way to get any intelligent conversation.

If you see me talking to myself, you can move along. We’re just having a team meeting ;)

I know I do. To do otherwise is rude. Possibly, unkind.

I do! And I bark at my dogs. When I speak English, they just tilt their heads :-)
