I’m not much of an NBA fan either, but it appears that Green has been ‘gooning’ it up on the hardcourt? Cheap shots, technicals, fighting teammates in practices?
I dunno if that compares to say, sportswashing. I’d nominate the PGA commissioner Jay Monahan for talking big at first, but then pulling the rug out from under his players by deciding to take the blood money after all.
Is it really a lock for Mr. Green? There’s Jim Harbaugh for one, and probably several other stories from earlier in the year that don’t immediately come to mind.
This is a psy-op by Hinds – he’s trying to get people to prove they aren’t that predictable so they will actually vote for someone else. If it works on half of likely voters, it will at least be a little bit of a race.

It was a pretty quiet year, maybe no one else really wanted the title and behaved themselves.

And what good will the committee be if they have nothing to “discuss”?
