    Rover, being such a “gentledog,” has always been reluctant to reveal why dogs are so fascinated and confused by squirrels at the same time. When he was puppy in squirrel behavior class, his mama always told him, “Remember. The higher a squirrel goes up a tree, the smaller his . . . backside . . . appears to be.” Wow. Profound!!
