Immigrants move into your country. Emigrants leave it. The joke fails flat because of the innaccurate terminology. People who don’t know the difference might think it was funny

Emigrants leave it when they were there legally. Illegal Aliens (immigrants) can feel free to leave as Illegal Immigrants any time they like.

Obambi will shed a tear or two since he’s trying to hand over nearly half of the USA to them, but oh well.

BTW, that Duke does look a lot like Ted Kennedy and the King like Juan McCain!

Actually, they joke was lost on you, because they ARE Immigrants (yes, they moved INTO id). However conditions were so bad they’re leaving. I don’t know that you’d call them Emmigrants, since they aren’t legal citizens.

Wish that would happen here. Too many people here have lost jobs. Employers have sent jobs there way.

Here in Arizona, we have seen a reduction in illegal immigrants. They have have been crossing back into Mexico with much greater frequency.

These peasants are illegal immigrants. Now they quit and emmigrant to their native countries legally.

If employers would only hire, LEGAL, immigrants as well as native born workers, there would be only LEGAL immigrants because there woulld be no reason to come to America if one couldn’t get a job without being LEGAL. Now, who hires the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS? How do a lot of these people vote on election day, meaning, which party? Wich party seems to be the most upset about ILLEGALS, but at the same time makes it attrractive for them to come? These are questions the King is going to have to figure out and address in a future strip.

If we really need illegal immigrants, how about we just change our policy?

How about some kind of system where if you want to come to the US from Mexico to do farm work, someone at the border gets a couple of forms of ID, makes sure the person is who they say they are and isn’t a major criminal, checks a database to see if there’s someone who needs more workers, and lets them in.

We’d know who was here, we could screen out people who were dangerous, and people wouldn’t get killed sneaking over the border.

Oh, if only.
