The Disney version actually had Merlin beating Mad Madame Mim though.
One question, wouldn’t the wand be absolutely massive to an amoeba? Or does the wand conveniently shrink itself each time it casts the spell? Otherwise there’s the danger of a two small pools of ooze on the ground next to a normal sized wand…
