Ah, I remember the days of trying to figure out the internet.

When I did IT support as a side gig, I had two clients who wanted to learn how to use a computer. Each had just retired and had never used one. One was an army general, the other was high-ranking in the state department of education. Each could just say “make this happen” to an assistant and never had to do the real work.

I had a colleague who for years required his secretary to print out his email so he could read it on paper.

The internet is a cyber-social environment where people with half baked opinions claim to be experts on subjects of which they have absolutely no knowledge or understanding.

I spent the early years of the internet in a situation where we did not have internet for security reasons. When I left that position, I never really caught up. But by grace of go comics, I was able to get help to get an account and post a picture. I can’t change the picture because I don’t know how.
