My son bought me a pair of Skechers sneakers you put on by stepping into without bending over. They are great. If you’re a senior, seriously consider getting a pair. They’re called “Slip-ins.”
So not true! Unless it is a pair of loafers, ALL my footwear is tied/adjusted in such a way as to allow walk-in (and not have to bend over ) advantage. Not my tall boots tho. Those are a diff story altogether.
It’s cheap knockoff “crocs” for this Plugger. And yes, I wear sox with them when I go out, to soak up the sweat & keep them from sliding around on my feet. (I do wear flipflops sometimes, but not as much as I used to.)
I wore flip-flops for bedroom slippers for many years. Then they didn’t work for me any more, slipping off too easily. I found some Isotoner slippers I like, and some crocks slippers (they’re lined so I don’t have to wear socks with them.

I hated tying my shoes. That’s why I wear slip on/strap on shoes.

Every plugger wants a large toe box and maximum cushioning.

Pluggers still tend to call them thongs and get weird looks when talking about wearing them.

No way. Trying to keep those things on my feet is a trial. Also, they are a tripping hazard. Not a great idea for us oldsters.

It’s all laughs and giggles until you “blow out your flip-flop, and step on a pop top”; but at least there’s booze in a blender waiting for you….
