You do have a very sophisticated palette. You love sausage, Doggydins, and Mrs. Dear’s leftovers, and whatever tidbits that might hit the floor during a party, but Haggis – that’s a hard no.
It always amuses me to see people cringing at the prospect of eating haggis; but they have no second thought about chowing down on a sausage; even though they are essentially the same thing .
Asterix and Obelix went to england once and at the end of the adventure feast the Brits boiled an Ox for them. Obelix had the perfect response, Poor Thing!
Actually, haggis tastes much the same as liverwurst. A little drier, perhaps, because of the oatmeal. (But I have to remark that I’m describing American haggis—genuine Scottish haggis is illegal here.)
