The last time I saw news on the TV it was “All the news that is the news, across the nation” on Laugh-in with Goldie Hawn and Friends.

Many would be shocked to find out the (whole) truths that have been hidden from (not reported) to them.

With all the pharmaceutical ads on tv and 15 minutes of them on Israel/ Hamas and Trump trial , it’s hard to call it news.

I accompanied my neighbor and his dog to a class where the dogs are taught to avoid rattlesnakes. The school has a de-fanged rattlesnake. They put a shock collar on the dog, and when the dog gets too close, so that the snake “rattles”, they shock the dog.

That was a year ago. This year, we returned for a refresh, but it wasn’t necessary. The dog refused to go anywhere near the snake. Money well-spent.

We got rid of TV entirely in 1994.We’ve never regretted it. I grab some local headlines off the net and the weather and that’s the full extent of of my news watching. No more talking heads trying to force me to feel this way or that way.

WHY do cartoonists always draw cats with whiskers but never dogs? Last time I checked, dogs have whiskers.
