I don’t worry about my wrinkles. They are signs that I have lived a full life and, besides, I earned them.

Yeah, but your skin looks like bark. Let’s start with defoliants and moisturizers. I’ll put you down for 11:15 next Tuesday.

Hoom, hum. Let us not be hasty. An Ent’s skin is not like that of a Hobbit’s. While I understand that you shire folk prefer your luxuries, you need not impose your customs on others. Your skincare routine applied to the forest would be a genocide of Trees and Ents. I hope you understand that if you press any further then I must consider gathering the Ents for an Entmoot. We would consider your proposal, its consequences, whether you are orcs, and whether to go to war with the shire. This may take some years, as the Entish tongue is not a hasty language. This is nothing personal, I hope you see dear Hobbit, I speak only of the facts of how we Ents respond to environmental impacts. Do you still wish to proceed with your skincare routine?

The skogsrå is only wrinkled on her back, where the bark is. Otherwise beautiful.

Maybe the next group of people we could decide to treat with respect is older people. Is it possible?

A forest god ought to understand the benefits of exfoliation! :P (I’ll see myself out…)
