Solution – let Mittens have his own pillow case and you can have yours. Have his name embroidered on a pillow case and he wouldgive hime something to brag about.

Making the bed with cats around is harder than solving a Rubik’s Cube.

I have a lot of fun with four cats when I try making the bed. I often have to give up and walk away for a while until they get bored with frustrating me.

My husband brought home a rescue and I was not happy as we had a cat. Rescue beat the stuffings out of her. I was ready to murder cat and husband. After a day of screaming followed by sullen silence I went to make the bed. Cat had been hiding under furniture in bedroom, he wasn’t to happy with the screaming lady. When I started shaking out the sheets he appeared with the most heartrending Murt!!! I had ever heard. He jumped on the bed and rolled joyfully on the sheets making little happy noises and wiggling. Hobby’s rough stray had once been loved. I sat down on the bed and cried while snuggling him. He was a darn good cat once he learned not to try to murder my poor kitty. There was enough love for both.

This is why those cat “sleeping bags” have become more popular. Cats like to be warm and covered but able to see what is going on around them.

Pixel eventually let us make the bed. We thought it was funny when he dove under the sheets. He didn’t do it for a long time. He’d get under the fitted sheet, then the flat. That was the part we didn’t mind, and left him there to work it out.

I always knew how cold it was, by how far one cat burrowed under the electric blanket. One bitter winter he slept at my toes undere the blanket on high. At first I was afraid he would suffocate. If it got too hot, he would move up to my neck.
