Do you like making box castles? Is it big enough to contribute? Do you have the space for it? If so, get some tape and a sage cutting instrument and have fun!
As soon as you flatten a box and send it off to be recycled, you find yourself with a need for a box just that size. I have a Christmas village. I added a popcorn stand that included figures of the vendor and some children. Unfortunately, it came in a blister pack instead of a box with a protective Styrofoam insert. Earlier that day the recycle truck had carried off the small cardboard box that I had almost kept that would have been the perfect size to store the pieces away when the village goes back into hibernation.

If you get rid of the box, immediately yo will find that the beautiful box is needed.

This is why my bedroom is full of beautiful empty boxes.

If you already have a lot of boxes, choose one of them to throw away and keep the really good one. Works with many things.

Boxes can be flattened so they’re easier to store.

Does it bring you joy? Ask the same question for each of the other boxes.

Are you moving soon? If so, is it a large box? Or sturdy enough to store books?
If so, hold on to it. And if you’re moving, hold on to any re-usable packaging material.

Maybe the crazy cat lady down the block can help you out with a few of those.
