Haley sez she’s not interested. Vivek? Maybe.

I know, I know……select a diversity pick, like an inexperienced, brown skinned woman from Cali who speaks in word salad lingo and cackles all the time. Never mind……Biden already did that…..sorry.

There is no race. He will not select anyone who has opposed him. Nor will he take another Establishment Republican. And forget about the crazies like Gaetz or MTG. (He’s cornered crazy and doesn’t want the competition.) He’ll select someone who’s been loyal the entire way. You’re seeing Stefanik now, but Huckabee Sanders and Kristi Noem are my short list. Expect it to be Noem.

It would be tempting for someone who really wants the presidency to sign on as VP. Remember this is a 77 year old man who looks like a heart attack or stoke going somewhere to happen, who has the stress of multiple criminal indictments to deal with, and who is probably going to wind up convicted of at least a few of the 91 indictments creating the problem of jail time. He can pardon himself on the federal ones, but it would be interesting to have a president who can’t go to several states because he has an arrest warrant out for him there.

To top that, he is increasingly incoherent. At the rate he is going, he is not going to make it another five years being able to even appear to be aware and capable of doing the job. At that point, he can be removed from office by his cabinet. Those people who are willing to tell Trump that they are devoted to him are the ones most likely to stab him in the back as soon as the getting is good if it does them any good individually. The odds of Trump surviving the term if he is elected are slim, so there is a good chance his VP will wind up with the job

Allie drew a cartoon showing how contemptible Republicans are?

    Astonishing.

He left out the diaper, though.

Guaranteed whoever Trump picks for his VP will not be any of the names getting thrown around. He said we would be surprised. This time it won’t be a political choice.

Last time he picked someone who could ‘help’ him with the travails of pushing his agenda through Congress, and we saw how that worked out.

This time it will be someone who has business sense.
