    I got a Physics degree back when, two in fact as I went through the MS program part-time. I worked as an engineer, originally electronics then moved into software eventually.

    Study hard Manu, you will most likely get your graduate school paid for plus a stipend, either teaching or research. There is a shortage of graduate teaching and research assistants in chemistry, physics, and most engineering programs. Teaching assistantships will pay you a small stipend for 8 hours of teaching per week plus a full scholarship as long as you keep a “B” or better average.

    90% of employed physicists work for the government making weapons and doing other stuff. Astrophysicists get to be on television on shows like “The Way the Universe Works.” And one of them was the one and only Carl Sagan and another is the one and only Neil deGrasse Tyson.
