Got up to see 28 degrees this morning, they’re claiming a wintery mix out there, it is only just now getting light enough to see what it is doing out there. For the day they are saying overcast with a high of 30. Yep, it’s still winter.
Did not get to church yesterday, to much hacking and stewing and blowing. Hopefully we will be a lot quieter come the first Sunday in February.
We have a few places to go later this week but, today, nope.
Not much going on this morning so I took the time to purge some of my files. I couldn’t have fit even one more piece of paper into that file drawer. Now there’s room for a few more years’ worth. I have a full box to take over to storage. And yes, I threw a lot away too. It’s amazing what one keeps… Not to mention misfiles…
Michael’s doing the laundry again. He’s set up a timer because the dryer chime is so soft we can’t hear it anywhere else in the house. So that he would recognize it as a timer he went with an unusual alert sound. So now about once an hour I get a rooster crowing in my ear. Fun times. At least I don’t have to do the laundry!
It’s another pretty day outside. We did get up to 69 yesterday and are looking for 71 today! The opening screen for the Weather Channel is questioning “This is January?”. Apparently most of the country is having unseasonably warm weather. All except the eastern portion and New England. Even Montana is supposed to get warmer than normal temps. I guess the only one of us who doesn’t is Mark.
