Be careful what you wish for.
He actually presented good arguments!
I remember when I was the only 6th grader with a bedtime of 9:00. I felt the same way as Kevin.
Mom: “Who was ‘negotiating’? This was a fair exchange of unreasonable demands. And I think it’s only fair that we both take a time-out from the table right now.”
Wait till he starts getting up at 5:30.
Careful what you ask for!
His twin sister, who knew to keep her mouth shut, still has a bedtime of 9:00.
Agree to disagree, Kevin. I like sleeping longer.
It’s not a question of what bedtime is good for Kevin. It’s a question of how much child-free time Mom needs.
Luckily, vegetables and bed time are the battles we won with our kids. Younger days it was 7-8p now its after the homework is done.
One for Mom.
How can you send a kid to bed when the sun is still shining?
Not ideal, but still, it leaves more time for flashlights and comic books under the covers and walkie talkie conversations with your bestie.
The only time I remember negotiating bedtime was when the TNG finale aired and I won.
