I have to agree with the dog on this one.
We went through this back in the ’50s only it was Nuevo Laredo and/or Piedras Negras (Across from Del Rio) as San Antonio high school kids.
This is from the late ’70s or early ’80s.
The more things change the more they stay the same, eh?
Heck, I won’t go within 100 miles of that border for all the tea in China now!

Did the same thing in the 90’s when I was stationed in San Antonio.
Park the truck so, when things go wrong you can make a quick getaway. like we use to do in Tj when in the military.
