Brutus could bring a nourishing meal cooked by Gladys from home.

Talk about gourmet dining.

Maybe they should try the local hospital. I hear their food is delicious.

If there’s a Publix near by, go hit the deli.

We called the vending machine where I used to work, the circle of death.

There’s no sit down service but the Falafel street vendor has a 5 pita rating.

I hear the vending machine tuna salad sandwich is very good.

Brutus could take his own lunch. Can of Beanie weenies or nuke a package of oodle noodles. Feast for King and Queens. Bring extra for your friends Brutus. Eating alone, I see.

There’s Salmonella Sal’s or Ptomaine Tom’s food trucks a couple of blocks away Brutus, but I cannot recommend getting food from either.

Pre-fabricated meals in the vending machine? ☹️

I hear the diner has meatloaf, mashed potato’s, peas, a soft drink and a cookie for $3.99… see ya!

the choices must be pretty slim for restaurants to eat at. :}

I suggest a “Hot dozen” from Krispy Kreme.

Dump a bag of corn chips on a paper plate and melt a cheese stick, or two, over them. Then do it again.

That must be some horrible diner. I’d sooner bring my own packs of cookies than get robbed by the vending machine.

It seems that the Mediocre Diet is not related to the famed Mediterranean Diet.

I can understand his feelings about the situation with the local dinner. My thoughts would be to vary his lunch routine by not only going out but making his own lunches and if he really is daring, have his wife prepare lunch every once in a while. However, some of those machines ARE pretty good though and expensive……

Ask the lady at the diner where she eats!!!

What? And miss out on the ambience of the diner?? The friendly waitress, the tempting variety of entrees, the chef de cuisine, the luxury stool at the counter, and the old gum ball machine that dispenses Tums?? You can’t get all that out of a machine!!!!

After eating Gladys’ food, I always thought the food at the diner had to be an improvement.

Hey, that brought a smile to Brutus’ face…..

Who is he kidding? Brutus won’t leave his diner!

It’s not like Brutus is wasting away.

I can think of worse food than what’s in some vending machines. A pack of peanut butter crackers and some chips and Brutus and Arnie should be good to go!
