I wouldn’t recommend having pets unless they are strictly indoor pets.

It should be like any pool of water in the deep South. It should have its own gators, water moccasins, and snapping turtles, with some timber rattlers on the land.

They might love the security system but they’ll hate the permanently flooded basement.
